This course aims to introduce students to the principles and theories of land surveying and its measurement and techniques. This course will prepare the students for a successful career in land surveying including the Navigation and Geographic Information Systems. This course includes the measurement of distances and angles, theory of errors in observations, the study of leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, route surveying, earthwork computation, photometry, boundary surveys, practice in the use of levels, total stations, and theodolite,  and Global Navigation Satellite Systems.
