The purpose of this course is to acquire the necessary grammar knowledge to excel in the other disciplines and transition the student into an academic mindset. Students will be taught how to communicate basic ideas in the past, present, and future in both written and spoken contexts. Students will ask and answer questions using simple verb tenses. They will be exposed to basic parts of speech, mechanics/punctuation, simple progressive tenses, and basic adverbial clauses.
