This course covers the fundamentals of fluid mechanics, including the following topics: concepts of fluid mechanics, fluid properties (static and dynamic), fluid flow measurements, dimensional analysis, and hydraulic similitude, dynamics of viscous fluid flow in closed pipe, dynamics of fluid flow in open channel flow. In addition to that, the course includes a Laboratory component to illustrate the concepts learned in the course.
