This subject presents the ethics as an intrinsic component of dental practice and explained different ethical points in the relation between the patient and dentist in dental medicine. The focus will be on dental ethics that deals with moral issues in dental practice. In view of important role of a dentist as a health professional, he have to know about the patients’ rights. The dentist is educated and trained on the treatment of both surgical and medical diseases related to the oral cavity as well as obtaining skills on different dental procedures. Another important subject to be discussed is the dentists’ rights in the community and law. As long as dentistry has exist, dentists have been facing difficult ethical dilemmas. Recently the complexity of the ethical issues faced by the dentists has increased. |
