This is the lecture component of an integrated lecture-laboratory course. Enrollment in the laboratory component of the course, ENGR 356L, is required and should be registered separately. This course covers the fundamentals of fluid mechanics, including the following topics: fluid properties (static and dynamic), fluid flow measurement, dynamics of fluid flow in open channels, dynamics of fluid flow in closed pipes, dimensional analysis, and hydraulic similitude.
