This course focuses on the concepts and methods of managing organizations. The overall course objective is to identify, apply, and evaluate techniques for structuring and resolving managerial problems in organizations. Topics include: strategic planning and implementation; organization structure; human resource management; groups, teams and motivation; leadership and corporate social responsibility, national and organisational cultures. Emphasis is placed on how environmental forces including diversity, globalization and sustainability shape modern management practices.
