This course covers the major parts of Iraqi Commercial law No. 30 of 1984, namely general
principles and contracts. The aim of this course is to determine the scope and contents of commercial
law and how can be separated from the scope of civil as both of the codes affiliate to the realm of
private law. However, a number of criterion and can be adopted to make the delimitation between
them, such as subjectivism and objectivism criterion.
