Chemistry I provides students with a fundamental understanding of the principles of chemistry and their applications in pharmacy and related health sciences. The course begins with basic chemical concepts and gradually develops students’ understanding of atomic structure, chemical bonding, molecular structure, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, states of matter, solutions, gases, thermochemistry, and chemical equilibrium.
