This course combines theoretical instruction with supervised clinical training in oral and maxillofacial radiology. Students develop practical skills in patient assessment, radiographic selection, patient positioning, intraoral and panoramic imaging, exposure control, digital image processing, and radiation protection. The course also introduces systematic radiographic interpretation, recognition of common dental and maxillofacial pathologies, and the appropriate use of advanced imaging modalities, including CBCT. Professional communication, documentation, teamwork, and image-quality evaluation are reinforced throughout the course.
